What recession? Adbusters seeks Senior Editor & Assistant Production Manager.

Looks like 2010 is turning out to be quite the year for jobs with a social conscience. Here are two positions with everybody's favourite Canadian culture-jamming powerhouse, Adbusters:

Position: Senior Editor Adbusters magazine is looking for a Senior Editor to join our in-house team. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned journalist with lots of revolutionary fervor still intact who is passionate about the ecological, political and cultural challenges of our time. You must be capable of generating crisp, edgy text on deadline and infusing our magazine and website with a sense of inspired activism.

Position: Assistant Production Manager Adbusters Media Foundation is looking for a go-getter to join our in-house team as the Assistant Production Manager. Our ideal candidate is an organized, self-motivated and energetic individual who is not afraid to pick up the phone to make things happen. Applicants should be familiar with writing copy for the web and should understand a variety of social networking platforms. Demonstrable immersion in social media is a must, experience with Drupal and basic HTML is a plus. This position calls for a versatile jack-of-all-trades -- duties include working on various campaigns, our website and a variety of other projects.

Now you've got another excuse not to watch the Olympics on TV this weekend.
